Dear Procrastination, Let's Break-up! : Escaping The Doom Loop & Becoming More Productive
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, to procrastinate means to keep delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring. Leaving something important to do last minute is a classic example of this. It could be for any reason; but what matters is knowing why you do it, and most importantly, how to end this cycle of bad habits. Naturally, as humans, we have the tendency to prioritize doing things that we consider more pleasant, and just like that, we leave all the remaining things languishing in the last position on our list.

I was in final year of my graduation, with a future that was blur at that time. I didn’t want to sit home idle. That was the biggest motivation, I had. I was good with mathematics and was not so bad with coding part. So, I started working on developing technical skills in the field of Data Analytics. I was working like a machine in order to achieve my goals. I applied in over 20 companies through different-different platforms. In the end, my hard work paid off and I got selected for a company with Data Analytics profile. Meanwhile, I did appear for CAT 2018 but wasn’t really sure about it. I gave an interview for IMI, New Delhi. Within a gap of three days, I had options to choose among MBA or a job. I chose the later one but the most important part of this challenge was that I got to know that I’ve limits and I can do anything if I really want to.
