ABG is deeply rooted in my life. It is because of its presence in India for more than 150 year and the value it creates for every Indian. For me, it is not only supplying the products of my need, it becomes a system to empower my values, my family and community around me. I worked in oil and gas company. I know the value that ABG chemicals create to entire the nation and the world. Many things that I use like clothes, shoes companies source their raw material from ABG. I have bought blazer from Peter England and wore the same blazer at the time of interview for my first job. And I still remember the remark made by the interviewer that you are perfectly dressed. Apart from this, their idea have changed my mind. I am talking about idea sim which I am using since 2010. HealthCube is providing quick diagnostic tests with quality results at approximately one-tenth of the market cost. Using HealthCube, over 1.6 lakh diagnostic tests have been conducted with over 1 lakh beneficiaries. I was always scared of public speaking during my graduation. I have faced many harsh consequences because of this. I was not able to express my viewpoint at many occasions which harmed me and my career. So, I decided to work on this weakness and I challenged myself to get rid of my fear. I joined public speaking classes and worked on this fear. I was regular to those classes and changed this weakness into strength in 3 months. I believe this helped me a lot after that in boosting my career and achieving my dreams. #ABGLP woome competition

Coming from a Civil Engineering background and doing internships as a Site Civil Engineer for some major construction projects, cement is always an important element for any construction. I have observed UltaTech Cement as undoubtedly the most trusted brand by major Construction groups in our country. Aditya Birla Capital has helped so many other businesses to grow while keeping the faith of the people which is necessary for a financial institution. Brands of Aditya Birla Fashion Retail such as Louis Phillipe, Van Heusen, etc. are still one of the most popular brands when it comes to formal wear. But apart from all the products and services that Aditya Birla Group has provided to us, what sets it apart is the people who have been running the company. My father being an entrepreneur told me of how Mr. Aditya Vikram Birla changed the scope of their home grown business and diversified it to achieve greater heights. Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla is also a role model to most of us business aspirants. With my ambition of becoming an entrepreneur in future and joining my family business, I always see these business leaders as my role model.

Almost 8-9 years ago, when Aditya Birla Group was cementing its leadership across various sectors, I was studying intermediate and we never had any other recreation (from the stressful entrance exam preparations) than discussing about the happening things, movies, fashion and etc., During those discussions, few of my friends use to pull my leg saying that I already own a company and it runs under my name. Yes, they were talking about ‘Aditya’ Birla Group. Though I am not from the Birla’s, I still used to feel proud and motivated to establish one such company in the future. The impact of the brand did not stop there, it is still with me and will be forever.

Everyone’s life is filled with many struggles and challenges which impact and shape their future in various ways. Overcoming my challenges helped me become the person I am today. Due to the transferable nature of my father’s job, I have shifted and travelled to many cities around India, never sticking in one place for more than 3 years. In my childhood, this contributed to most of my struggles. Losing the familiarity of a place I called home, leaving behind friends to land up amongst strangers from different cultures, changing schools and finding my way around the new neighbourhood. It was quite tough in the beginning, but it made me into a stronger, confident and resilient person. I learnt how to make friends easily, and interact with people from different regions and ethnicities. I learnt to be self-sufficient and responsible. And last but not the least I learnt how to “pack”!

Whether it’s the food we eat or the shelter we live in, the latest fashion or some phosphatic chemical we have not heard about, life insurance or just a simple foil to pack food. ABG presence is both visible and invisible to us. But it is adhering to every common people’s need.
