Bhubaneswar might be one of the most progressive and dynamic cities in India but back then, in my growing up years, it was all about "haats" and "weekly bazaars" for us. Lifestyle and fashion scene was only 'limited' to what was available in particular shops where the entire city shopped from. But then in the year 2009, the first fashion and lifestyle store, Pantaloons opened its first store in Bhubaneswar and that was it for me. Needless to say, I was 'spoilt for choice' because it offered the luxury of variety and it changed the entire shopping experience for me. I had not seen so many numbers of brands under one roof it was a completely different experience for me. Big building, posh lights and escalators, I might sound like a kid now but god I was so excited.

It was those september nights of 2009, when a 15 year old version of me went searching for that special unique birthday gift for my father. The passion to bring the best in the store was which drived me to the Louis Philippe store. That was the big day in my life when I gifted my father for the first time with the cash I have been saving for long. I saw a proud father the next day dressed up in the Louis Philippe shirt, the brand that taught me the value of acknowledging. ABG group through Louis Philippe brand gave me my first big day to cherish. The initiative ABG have been taking throughout to bring a change through their products and services are those which shows the constant  feeling of commitment , something younger generation can learn from. Thousand splendid suns- TAPMIEvery life on this planet is blessed with unique life and every creature has its own set of challenges every single minute in order to survive. In every one of these challenges we face, we evolve. We evolve to see a new and brighter sun , a ray of hope for today.Like any other creature on earth, I also faced some challenges, those which only made me grow.One day my mother fell off a bus while getting down and sustained a ligament tear in left leg. Theleg needed surgery to correct the condition. I was working for software firm in Bangalore and lived with my mother. We were the only two people in the house. I was preparing for CAT exam which was in November. And this happened in February.My mother insisted that the surgery could wait and that I concentrate on my studies. The doctor told me that if the condition was not corrected my mother would loose her joint. I convinced her to get the surgery done. After the surgery she was advised bed rest for 5 months , which meant me multitasking between my work ,home and studies. I cooked breakfast, lunch and gave everything necessary for her and went to work. At night I cooked dinner and got back to study.I was a lazy and irresponsible person at the beginning of February and by the end of August managed everything effortlessly.I realised that I could do this without complaining, and managed most of the tasks efficiently.The only motivation that kept me going was my mother. Everyday when I woke up ,I thought to myself, if it was me on that bed instead of her, what would she do? She would never give up on me. Would she.This one question kept me going.When you decide to fight the challenge, you find thousand splendid suns to give hope and light.
