Aditya Birla Group also known as ABG in an Indian multinational conglomerate with his presence in more than thirty countries and more than one lac employees worldwide. Its currently in business in industries like Cement, Telecom, Retail, IT Services, Carbon black, Chemicals, Fertilizers, etc. Without any doubt, I can say that ABG touched millions of lives across the years of its presence and also mine. The first experience which I can recall is of that when I bought my first cell phone back in 2010. I used the services of Idea Cellular at that time which I later I came to know that its an ABG product. I still remember Idea provided very cheap call and messages services at that time as its providing today. As I was a student Idea helped me in connecting with my family and friends at very economical prices. As India is still a developing country with a large percentage of the population in low- and middle-income group the services Idea provided was easily accessible to all. People working far away from their families for work could easily talk to their families at very economical prices.
There are many places where ABG has contributed to my life but the second brand which I want to write about is MORE. When I was working in Hyderabad I was staying in a rented flat which was located in the corner of the city. To buy groceries or any item of daily use one had to go 3 kms but that didn’t happen as MORE was just next to my flat. After a hectic day at the office, I could easily buy items of daily use from there without any hassle. The prices and quality were really competitive with the supermarket which was 3 kms far away. So, in the end, I would say that Aditya Birla Group has made a big contribution to my life and the lives of millions of people across the globe.
