What it takes to be a Royal Brother...

My college is in Bangalore….. Well, this is what I tell everyone who asks me where I’m doing my MBA. But I stay in a place called Gottigere which is considered to be a village outside Bangalore although it’s only a few kilometers away from the prestigious IIM Bangalore. Given the location of my room and the fact that I didn’t own a vehicle, I used to rent bikes for exploring Bangalore given my passion for checking out new places. The best bike rental company I was a customer of was by far Royal Brothers Auto Rentals Pvt Ltd. I was thoroughly impressed with their service and recommended it to all my friends whenever we wanted to roam around in Bangalore.  Never did I imagine I would be interning in the same company that I was a faithful customer of. Here started my summer internship journey with Royal Brothers.

Merging Possibilities with

I graduated in the year 2017 with a Btech degree in Electronics and communication from NIT Durgapur. I was fresh out of college and was going to join my first company which was IBM. I was really excited for my first job and was eager to learn as much as I could. I underwent a 2 month training after which I would be assigned to a project. My colleagues and I were really eager to know the client we would be assigned to.

Brands may come and brands may go, but some brands remain with us forever. Idea Cellular has been the forever brand for me. All the first things in life are always exciting. The first bike, first phone, first girlfriend and Idea cellular was the brand of my first phone number. I still remember that day, when the network bars were full and my mom made the first call on my first mobile number. That day was the start of a new journey and Idea has been my Ideal companion in this journey. I also remember my first job interview in my college. We were told to wear a white shirt on the interview day. I got a Peter England shirt for the interview. I converted the interview and later also used that shirt for the scribbling day program in my college. That shirt is the biggest treasure I have. Aditya Birla Group has been a part of my life since childhood in different ways. It is one of the brands which has been with me since a long time. I believe Aditya Birla group has made life simpler for millions of Indians through it's products. From communication to fashion, it has been fulfilling the needs of people. It is the one brand which will always be constant for me and will always have a big part in my life.

Mumbai-my city of dreams

Internships are an integral part of an MBA course. Hands on experience is as important as learning about new developments and theoretical knowledge. When I joined B-school, what I often heard was that internships are the best part of MBA curriculum. For once, when the interviews for summer placements started, stress came as a companion. When you see your friends getting placed and it is already December, situation became worse. But soon there was a sigh of relief. Everyone in the batch was placed.

It all started when I cracked my GD-PI of NMIMS

It all started when I cracked my GD-PI of NMIMS and my resignation to the job. I was way excited in getting into MBA and had a high level of expectation on career and being a MBA graduate.MBA taught me how to tackle time crisis, worst case scenarios and most importantly grooming in an executive manner. This grooming and handling scenarios help me develop myself and grow. This was clearly shown to me during my summer internship interview.
