Well to be honest, it took me some time walking down the lanes for thinking how big impact ABG had on my life. The answers to this enigmatic question weren’t there up front. But in hindsight, it eventually did. Let me take you all through the story and after effects of my professional delegations after working with ABG.

“Perseverance the secret of all triumphs “—Victor Hugo. Nobody chalks out a plan to fail, but yeah we trip n fall sometimes. We all start with tremendous enthusiasm, then keep losing it with time and finally at some point we give up. If at first you fail, do not worry keep trying is what my motto of life.

As a 90's kid I remember sharing food with my classmates during our lunch break. After a series of classes and lectures, it was the home cooked parathas and sandwiches freshly wrapped in aluminum foil which used to make us joyful instantly. Lately I came to know that the foil, which is used by most of the Indian households to pack food to intact warmth and freshness, is manufactured by Aditya Birla Group. Being a Bengali, I'm quite proud of the fact that Kolkata was the first city in India to introduce metro as an intra-city commute. I feel relieved and safe knowing that Ultra tech cement is being used for the construction of the newer lines. I remember when I bought my first mobile phone, I had chosen Vodaphone as my service provider for its affordable tariff plans and the network coverage it provides. Needless to say, even Vodaphone is a gift of ABG group to us Indians. From the carbon black used in car tyres to the smartphone covers made from Hindalco aluminum, Aditya Birla Group had ensured safety in all aspects. I've always been very choosy and particular when it comes to fashion. Thanks to Aditya Birla Group for bringing the best brands under one roof i.e. Pantaloons. Thanks for making fashion affordable for most of the middle-class Indians who can shop all the latest trends from Pantaloons. While buying apparel for my mom, I always make sure that the fabric is soft and fluid, in short it should have a 'Liva' tag, which is again a part of Aditya Birla Group.

Brand consciousness is a way of thinking and conditioning, that was, until my first internship in my engineering days, completely irrelevant to me and stirred no thought or emotion within me. Having been brought up, for the first decade of my life, in Imphal, Manipur, where the standard of living is lower compared to the rest of the country and the concept of a 'brand' was misunderstood and 'value-buying' was the topmost priority, I was accustomed to the fake ripoffs of popular brands like Adidas and Nike that entered the local markets from China, through Myanmar. Quality was almost never a factor as the costs of the clothes and shoes were too cheap to ignore and pass up. There was no inclination to loyalty to any brand or product.

All my life

All my life

3rd March 2017 was the last month of college at Jain CMS Bangalore and as we entered the final moments of our BBA with all the “one last times” and graduation googles we decided that for the send-off party we would go out in style with a classy prom night. Now all through my life I’ve had jeans and loose-fitting shirts as my staple a far cry from following any sort of acceptable fashion norms and getting a suit had never crossed my mind but for prom night apparently you need a Tuxedo. Now with no idea of where to get a Tux I did what any rational adult would do when they want to shop – I went to a mall, well Orion mall at Rajajinagar and on one floor there were a whole line of outlets Luis Philippe, Allen Solly, Peter England, Forever 21 and Pantaloons are occupying  a whole level of this enormous mall, conflicted with so many amazing options I finally decide to enter Van Heusen and after 2hrs of going through materials with the shop clerk with him explaining each and every part of a Tux, I got my measurements taken and I was out. Fast forward to 23rd March I walk out of my home looking like the Indian 007 on a secret mission. I had a beautiful date, good music and an Unforgettable night surrounded by friends.
