To attract meritorious students into research, the Government of India, in 2018 launched Prime Minister’s Research Fellows (PMRF) Scheme, which offers direct admission to such students in the PhD programmes in IITs, IISERs and IISc. The scheme is aimed at attracting the talent pool of the country to doctoral (PhD) programmes for carrying out research in cutting-edge science and technology domains, with a focus on national priorities.

A two part webinar series, where industry leaders in the space of Health, Hygiene, and Nutrition, Reckitt provided aspirants an opportunity to interact with RB leaders and share their experiences on how they built iconic brands within the company, this program helped a lot of students solving their doubts around the life after B-school.

In order to do a financial analysis of the transaction, I decided to conduct a valuation of the company of Bira 91 craft beer, which is B9 Beverages Pvt. Ltd. The method I used for valuation was relative valuation approach using Enterprise Value multiples.

There was, however, a silver lining to it, a boom in E-Commerce businesses from the month of June- July.
