After posting my last article on financial literacy (link), I received a lot of feedback and queries from the people that they are somewhat aware of traditional investment avenues and they were curious whether any other investment avenues are available which are not known to many but might generate better returns than traditional investments. There are investments called as alternative investments in which risk-loving investors can invest.
IIM Indore concluded placements for a mammoth 617 students - students spread across 2 courses and 2 cities. The performance is quite commendable given the magnitude of the task. Most other top business schools need to place about 60% of the size that IIM Indore placed this year. BCG, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, HUL, Nestle, Google, Flipkart, IBM, L'Oreal, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Aditya Birla Group, Airtel are some of the marquee recruiters at IIM Indore this year.
The social event titled “Say No to Drugs” that was conducted by the students of IIM Amritsar at Government Senior Secondary School Bachiwind, near Attari, Amritsar. Our society is severely crippled by the abuse of drugs. So, the students of IIM Amritsar have committed toward a mission of a drug free society. They have started their journey with a campaign that goes by name “Say NO to drugs”.
