IIM Rohtak To Conduct CAP For Admission Into 9 New IIMs

IIM Rohtak will conduct the Common Admission Process (CAP) for admission into the new IIMs for the batch of 2017-19. Post announcement of CAT 2016 results, the shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis (WA) for admission into IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Trichy, Kashipur, Udaipur, Amritsar, Bodh Gaya and Sambalpur. The institute, which also conducted the first CAP, will share the results with the other IIMs post evaluation. Last year, the CAP was conducted by IIM Kashipur.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts one exam TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) for about 55 of their Programs for MA. Some of them in Social Health may only have a descriptive paper whereas for the coveted MA (HRM & LR) which is considered equivalent to an MBA in HR, the TISSNET exam consists of English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning along with General Knowledge & Knowledge on Contemporary Issues.

If you think you are good at the quantitative ability section, then start with it and try to solve maximum questions in an hour. The questions in the Quantitative section might be moderately tough as they are conceptual in nature. Do not panic if you see a tough question. Carry on with other questions rather than wasting time on a particular question if you are not able to solve it.
