6 Reasons why NITIE campus is indeed the God’s own campus

6 Reasons why NITIE campus is indeed the God’s own campus

If someone asks you to picture a B School in your mind, how would it look like? Will you go for the clichéd red sandstone building containing dark hallways or will your picture be bogged down by practicality to imagine shopping mall like structures that look more like a coaching centre than a renowned institution, or much worse will your mind restrict itself to visualize just a department/library block in an engineering college campus?

Life at MDI-Murshidabad

Life at MDI-Murshidabad

We all forayed into MDIM with our variegated experiences and surfeit of dreams, though still privative and lumbering. MDIM soon became our platform and our entourage in chiselling and honing ourselves. Be it the ruthless pragmatism which the industry so vehemently venerates, to the bestowal of business praxis, you witness it all here. From day one, there hasn't been a single day where we haven't added any value to what this emphatic place has endowed us  with already.

'I presented a project on Malnutrition to PM Narendra Modi' - Icons of IIM Indore - Kapil Kanungo

Kapil is one of the gem who has been carved out to dazzle through the IPM program. He is currently in the 4th year of IPM course at IIM Indore. During his stay at IIM Indore, he started to traverse the journey of being a CA as well as CS Finalist, winner of some of the awards like Amul Vidya Bhushan, National Moot Court and Elocution Competitions, TATA Crucible (Finalist). He also enjoyed the stint of being a freelance writer with the Times of India, a Cub Reporter with Dainik Bhaskar and a Radio Jockey with MY FM and Akashvani. He also presented a project on malnutrition to a jury consisting of PM Modi (then CM of Gujarat) and FM Jaitely (then Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha) during the Manthan event. Here is an interesting chat that we had with him.

How Characters from Harry Potter taught me Leadership - Part Three

How Characters from Harry Potter taught me Leadership - Part Three

This is a continuation of Sayali Patil's series on leadership lessons from Harry Potter. Starting from Harry himself ( his courage, his ability to inspire, and the fact that he was trustworthy), we moved to the feared Lord Voldemort (never-say-die approach, ability to manage and execute) and then Albus Dumbledore (a master strategist and exemplar). Read those stories here (Harry Potter, and Voldemort and Dumbledore).
