Every year, at InsideIIM, we endeavor to select the Best 50 - The Most Employable Graduates of their year. This year too, we conducted the Best 50 Survey. We floated questions across b-school students, alum who have recently graduated, etc. and asked them questions about their most selfless acts, their most debilitating experiences, how they handled conflicts, what do they excel at, how would they spend a corpus of 10 Mn USD, etc. The answers we got ranged from wanting to help the underprivileged to creating investments for the betterment of the world at large. Some answers were pithy, some were relatable AF, some confused us, and some got us thinking ‘wow!’ And thus were born the Best 50 - The Most Employable Graduates of The Class of 2018-20. In this article, we bring you a list of all their stories. Check out stories of fighting with thugs, supporting peers financially, struggling to juggle multiple exams, competitions, etc. at once, dealing with family problems, giving up on personal goals to live more meaningfully, and many more emotional, beautiful stories of what makes one exceptional!
When going through any MBA related website in India, we see a lot of articles like "How to ACE the CAT," "Crack the CAT in 60 days," and so on. Along with the MBA prep centers, these make it seem like CAT is the final hurdle, overcoming which you can get into your dream B-School for an MBA. The newspapers also don't help much. 1st or 2nd-page articles highlighting the number of 100 percentilers from the city/state are published just after the CAT results are declared. And, most aspirants reading them think just like other entrance exams, cracking CAT will get them into their dream institute(in this case, a B-School).
Clearing the Cat exam is one of the most panic and worrisome thing one can go through. But for the MBA aspirant, the work does not end here. The biggest worry post-cat students have is how to prepare for GD/PI/WAT. CAT, as said it just 1St milestone of your preparation; another big hurdle one needs to achieve is to go through GD/PI/WAT process.
Besides the mark that Lee left on the so-called modern pop culture and the world of superhero comic books and entertainment, Lee is also a fantastic example of collaborative work. He called it the “Marvel Method.”
