Autumn Internships Decoded - Why MBA At SPJIMR

“Why MBA?” is a question most MBA aspirants prepare for at least once. The answer to this question is, in fact, your shortcut to understanding your own career choices too! And while we are at it, let’s take a moment to speak about the practice of internships that b-school students must go through. This rite of passage though, is slightly different for SPJIMR students. SPJIMR students don’t go through summer internships, but instead they have something called autumn internships. This means, SPJIMR – PGDM students intern with top companies at the end of the third semester (Autumn/ Fall) and not at the end of the first year (Summer.) As a direct result, PPO and PPI offers have consistently been more than 40 % over the years. Intrigued? Check out what a fellow SPJIMR student has to say about autumn internships in this video…

The Ultimate XAT 2020 Reading List By XAT 99.139 Percentiler

The Ultimate XAT 2020 Reading List By XAT 99.139 Percentiler

XAT is taken by all serious MBA aspirants. Right after CAT, all these serious aspirants start preparing for XAT which makes scoring a high percentile all the more difficult as everyone will play his/her A-game (Unlike CAT where around 40-50% aspirants take the test as a trial). Also, less no. of institutes coming under the ambit of the exam, as compared to CAT, make the completion all the tougher and the stakes higher. Hence, one needs to put in much more effort with less time in hand to ace the race to get into one of the most prestigious institutes of India-XLRI Jamshedpur (BM and HR) and elite institutes like SPJIMR, Mumbai. For all those who could not give their best in CAT, XAT is a chance for redemption and fulfilling their dream of doing MBA from elite b-schools in India.
