However, it is equally important for aspirants to brace themselves for Group Discussion, Writing Ability Tests and Interviews. It can be the deciding factor to ascertain a seat in top-notch B-schools.
SNAP 2019 continued to be an absolutely uninteresting paper. Like it is the case with SNAP every year, there were weird questions and some weird options to go with them. While General English was easy, Quantitative Ability turned out to be a lengthy paper. Overall, the paper was similar to last year give and take a few weird questions where you certainly should not have spent any of your time. This year with the change in the exam structure, there were only three sections viz. General English, Quantitative Ability and Analytical & Logical Reasoning in the paper with 34, 35 and 36 questions in each section respectively. You could have attempted the paper in the sequence of your choice as you were allowed to move from one section to another section. The total time given for the paper was 120 minutes.

However, with the help of the faculty at Great Lakes, as well as many facilities offered, he managed to prepare well for the internship. His performance helped him convert his summer internship to a PPO.

I started preparing for CAT in early 2019. Few months into the preparation rigour, I realised that getting selected by any decent B-school is like going through a double-layered sieve. The first part - giving the CAT and OMETs - is the sieve with the bigger filters. No doubt scoring a high percentile in these exams requires a lot of hard work, but the real challenge begins after obtaining a good score. Because one might be in the top 1 percentile, but if you don't convert the call from that coveted B-school, then all that effort goes down the drain and you either drop a year or settle for another B-school.
Mental health is often the most neglected when we are put to a grind. For Gayathri, it became too much to handle during her undergraduate years. Studying away from family, the pressure of acclimatizing in new surroundings and proving to others that her decision of not pursuing engineering to go for mathematics was the right one, took a toll on her mental health. To an extent that one day she decided to end her own life!
