It was February 5, 2016, when my Father passed away from this mortal world. I had my SSC exams in the following month. Along with taking tuitions, I completed my board exams with a 99.96%ile and a 100/100 in Accounts. I received four trophies from my school (St. Xavier’s High School) for being the HSC Commerce Topper and securing the highest marks in English, Accounts and Statistics.
My father has never been good at speaking English. In today’s world, where the English language is a pre-requisite, it has been a roadblock for him in achieving the highest goals. He often tells me that if only he had better English speaking skills, he could have achieved a lot more. So, he has always paid special attention to education and ensured that I have studied from the top schools in the city. I have performed consistently well throughout my studies and I can proudly say that my father has played a huge part in it. Not many fathers would stay up all night watching their children studying for board exams. He was delighted when I was a rank holder in 10th Boards in school and topped in English.

When one thinks about such behemoths in the context of the Indian consumer market, the name of the Aditya Birla group immediately springs to mind.
From my very childhood, I wanted to do something different and fly high. My dreams at nights would mostly include me to suit up like my father and hold conferences. Belonging to a small town, it seemed very difficult and almost impossible. After all, daughters’ efforts were not very encouraged in my extended family.
