Like most of us, I have had many challenges in my life that made me cry, that deterred me at times, that made me question my abilities, but I would see them as tough times and opportunities that helped me build a tougher shield and enabled me to evolve as a stronger more confident individual.
We were finally free from the gruelling three months of the first trimester when the summer internship process started. From attending mock GD’s to reading up resource materials provided by our college committee and clubs, the race had started. I would read all the HR websites and keep a tab on the latest news.
It was the end of May 2005, I was around 8 years of age. Suddenly all the sacks that were outside the house in the site were lined up to the wall in our small house because it had started raining. Between all this, there was a sort of different scent filled the house. My father was constructing his dream-his first house.
In 2017, I was diagnosed with dengue. I was preparing for an entrance test which was to be held soon. The illness sent my preparation for a toss. I was hospitalized for a week. After getting discharged, it took me a week to get used to the daily routine. With hardly any time left for the test, I struggled to study despite trying my best. In the end, I was not able to clear the test with the required percentile.
There are two aspects to this article,

The closest interactions I have had with the Aditya Birla group are through its telecommunication service i.e. Vodafone Idea, its group of clothing brands like Van Heusen, Peter England, Louis Philippe and most obviously through Ultratech Cement.
NMIMS Mumbai had always been in the list of my dream colleges ever since I learnt about MBA. In 2017, I finally decided to take NMAT which is the entrance exam for NMIMS. Besides taking the entrance exams, I also decided to join my family real estate business for work exposure.
