I’m sitting in my room which happens to be the oldest hostel in our college. No marbles or tiles. The walls painted with Lime and I’m wondering what makes XIMB unique? Twenty kilometres from the heart of the beautiful city Udaipur lies the fast-growing (both literally and symbolically) IIM Udaipur. Located in Balicha, it may not appear as a top b-school in the first impression. But when you move further and see what lies at the nerve centre of this college, you will find that this place is full of life and stories to tell.

You know the feeling when you get to a city that is a tourist city, where every shop, every store sells the same handicrafts stuff to attract the tourist. The colourful façades, the over-hanging paraphernalia, overstocked with souvenirs shouting at the top of their lungs to woo the customers over and haggling over the prices, and a calm settles over you because that is when it hits you that yes the vacation has finally started. No matter how dinghy and narrow the streets are, no matter how navigation seems to require the skills of Magellan to cross the intricate networks of the city, it always seems to settle as a detached calm over you. A Memorable Classroom Experience At IIM Sirmaur
One comes to an IIM with the aim to fulfil their dreams and be the manager they always dreamed of becoming. An IIM is famous for their demanding schedules, academic rigour and the plethora of opportunities provided to the students. Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur is no different. Being a baby IIM, IIM Sirmaur has not yet flourished nevertheless this provides the students with the chance to pave the way for the future of this institute. Being a new IIM, we have a limited number of faculties on the campus and are visited by many extraordinary minds from various management institutes to teach us. Among all the interesting classes we had, the most memorable classroom experience I have had was a quiz I gave in my third term of the 1st year.
