Well, every day at b-school has been new and exciting, with each lecture superseding the previous one and widening my perspective of management more as art than science. One such experience would be a lecture of Organizational Behavior where the professor walked in with a concrete plan to navigate the classroom in a certain way. He randomly assigned roles to a few students and invited them to the centre of the classroom to enact the case. For background, the case revolved around an ethical dilemma faced by a toy manufacturing company, where two infant deaths had been reported on contact with a particular toy product. The entire class was engrossed in the proceedings when suddenly the classroom doors burst open, with protestors spilling into the room with loud slogans and zealous dialogue. The room was arrested in a state of shock, amusement and captivation. We later were informed that the professor had invited dramatics experts to contribute to the class, making the entire experience so memorable and powerful. That was one lecture I will never forget!
'What Strategy should I follow in order to ensure a good percentile in CAT?' This is the most asked question if we go to any CAT exam related portal.
My most memorable classroom experience in IIM Indore was of a session of Organizational Behaviour - II in my term-II. A role play was designed for that session. Some external actors were also hired for this purpose.

Have you ever imagined living your life in a quaint town with forests galore and birds chirping by? IIM Indore embodies that imagination. What makes IIM Indore unique is how understated its diversity is, almost as if the diversity has blended into every thread of its existence. There are days when the student mess is greeted with a presence of peacocks and yet, life goes on. The 200-acre campus houses countless trees and birds and insects and the charm they deliver is unmatchable. Every time you walk around the campus, you feel refreshed and wowed. This beauty at IIM Indore makes it unique.

Anyone remotely good in mathematics or in money management will tell you with certainty that a study abroad program is not worth the money or effort. The numbers just don’t add up. You pay too much for far too less “travelling”. So, are they right? Being brutally truthful, seen just in terms of money spent and locations tagged in a Facebook post, a study abroad program is not even close to being useful. But, that is to point, a study abroad program is not a foreign trip (at least not in its factual sense). It is a program aimed at studying in a different location to understand the work culture there and maybe pick up a few points of academics along the way.
