Reliance - Summer Internship Experience
This summer was historic. We did things that we had never done before. While organizations fought this challenge on many fronts, one team that needs a special mention for managing things in record time is the campus relations team (TAG team). Even before the crisis arose, the Reliance team was very proactive in dealing with our queries and concerns which helped us have faith in the system and deal with our apprehensions about the virtual internship. RIL not only succeeded in managing the virtual summer internship. They made it a memorable one. Right from the beginning the way the TAG team handled all of us, interns, by always checking on us (our needs and aspirations) and keeping us entertained (FFFs) together as a family was truly phenomenal.

Preparation Strategy: Titan Company Limited is a Tata Group subsidiary, which is very passionate about its values and mission. I made sure that I was well aware of the same, and knew a bit about all the segments of the company before going in for the interview. However, my interview was mainly about myself, and how my attitude and beliefs would be right for the company. What they want in a candidate are a positive attitude and the thirst to learn and execute more. The company looks forward to candidates that align with their values. I also brushed up my basic knowledge about HR, and the different roles it offers.

Preparation Strategy BuildMyInfra, as the name suggests, the company is in construction of infrastructure and logistics projects like warehouses and other turnkey projects like commercial offices and supermarkets, thus one needs to brush up the current happenings in the Infrastructure sector in India as well as abroad, what is the scope of infrastructure in near as well as long term future, what are the best practices employed worldwide in warehousing and last but not the least, various types of projects and means and ways of procurement. Finally, one needs to have in-depth knowledge of the company and its projects.
