So, after 5 years of swatting away requests for a ranking from our users, we have finally given in. We did a simple thing. We asked our users - only those registered as CAT/MBA Aspirants on the platform to tell us how desirable each of the 48 of India's top business schools is on a scale of 1 to 100.
The Student Syndrome, as opposed to popular perception, is planned procrastination. For instance, an employee works with full commitment and a mindset to finish his assignment only at the last possible minute before the deadline. This, at times, reduces the potential gains that could have been realized if the due effort was put in earlier. This happens mainly because the perceived value of doing something else outweighs the value of working now, putting one under stress and pressure at a later stage.

Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad recently hosted its 11th National Conference on “India Rising: Perspectives from South Asian Region” in the presence of renowned names from different industry sectors and academia. Held on 29th and 30th of Jan, the topical conference was high on relevance as it focused on the growing might of India, which has been bolstered by initiatives like Make in India and Digital India. As Indian brands take on global powerhouses, intra-regional trade in South Asia needs to reach its highest potential. These were some of the questions raised and answered through eye-opening discussions in the two-day conference.
