Generating new forward-looking ideas for the U.S. Wealth Management industry was an enriching experience on industry scan, concept formulations, and development of use-cases. I have now moved onto my 2nd rotation project to test the waters in previously uncharted territories. I was offered a combination of two projects – Operations Transformation & Business Unit (BU) Management; both being aligned in the long term with the goal of increasing operational efficiencies in Asia region (including the Middle East & Japan). I was intentionally offered more on my plate to help me push my boundaries. The key for me was to lap up this arduous task with open mindset as an opportunity to excel further. Life at SIBM Bengaluru is challenging and exciting. On one hand, there is a myriad of assignments, tests, meetings, and appointments to keep up with. On the other hand, there are small little victories and everyday miracles, along the way, that makes life here not just fast-paced but also interesting. Deciding to join this college has been one of the best decisions of my life so far. In the short span of time that I have been here, this institution has become a home away from home.
SIBM B is the pathway to follow your dreams. It adds a pinch of the perfect mix of opportunities and challenges to a student’s life, making it vivid and worthwhile. The door of opportunities slides open to a plethora of events and activities that aim to bring out the best in you by making you push your limits at every step. Some challenges will make you feel alive, engaged, connected, and fulfilled. Others will simply leave a trail of lessons. Each day sets out to make one emerge bolder and better, ready to face the dynamic business environment.
