"The only way to do great work is to love what you do".
The alarm goes off at 7:00 in the morning as you frantically battle with sleep. You haven’t had the luxury of a good night’s sleep for weeks and there you go again, faced with another demanding day filled with things you would have never imagined yourself doing in a single day. You somehow rush through things and barely make it to the first lecture and thus the cycle begins. Lectures, cold calls, assignments, readings, quizzes, meetings and presentations engulf you from all the sides and just as you catch your breath, its night again. The short answer to this question is “no.” At times, it seems to be a “yes” because of some rare illusions of success created by people in some small companies. A non-HR person handling the HR department is similar to a mason planning a building construction by himself. Anyone with common sense would know that his knowledge cannot match that of a proper civil engineer. The gap between an HR professional and a non-HR person is excessively high. The work delivered by an HR professional who is passionate about their profession is unparalleled.
“Don’t just gulp theories and terms, apply them in real life too.” – that’s what our professors used to tell us in every lecture. And believe me, I did.
Recently, the right to privacy became a heated issue in India with the people raising concerns over the privacy of their information provided on Aadhar cards. However, the question that arises here is how private should the right to privacy be and where did this debate start?
