Average Salaries up by 27%. Highest Package of 13.5 Lakhs offered so far. More than 50% of the batch of 2013-15 placed

The unprecedented growth rate of the Indian GDP seems to be translating well for established B-schools across India. KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar - or KSOM as its popularly called - is already seeing an upswing in the average salaries. The highest salary offered thus far has been 13.5 Lakhs CTC by the Oman-headquartered Khimji Ramdas LLC. The average salary offered so far is 4.78 Lakhs. This is a significant increase of 27% from last year, when KSOM had registered an average CTC of 4.0 Lakhs.

IIM Rohtak successfully completes its Final Placements for PGP batch of 2013-15

IIM Rohtak successfully concluded its final placements for this year with 61 recruiters participating in the process for the PGP batch of 2013-15 comprising of 152 students. With its 4th PGP batch placements, IIM R was able to reinforce its relationship with its past recruiters and also formed relationships with several new recruiters. The average annual package of Top 50 students was 13.6 lakhs and that of Top 100 students was 11.74 lakhs. The average annual salary of the batch registered an 8.3% increase over the previous year, indicating the economic revival and recruiter confidence in IIM Rohtak students. There was also a considerable increase in the number of Pre-Placement Offers given by companies to IIM Rohtak students.

XLRI successfully placed 299 students in the Class of 2014. 99 PPOs in a batch of 299 students (1/3rd of the batch) is a good number. XLRI continues to be among the top few schools that offer a balanced mix of profiles across various functions and sectors.

Final Placements - SPJIMR Mumbai - Class of 2015

The most fascinating aspect about SPJIMR report is the number of PPOs. More than 40% of the batch (92 out of 228) gets placed after Autumn internships. Quite a telling statistic. We have often mentioned in our reports on InsideIIM.com previously that SPJIMR students stick around longer in the first job from campus because of their orientation in a specialized field. This makes them preferable among many recruiters. The list of recruiters at SPJIMR will be very consistent over the years because they keep recruiting year after year. Clearly, satisfaction levels are high at the campus.

Roles across the spectrum. Presence of big names like Mckinsey & Co., BCG, Google, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, HUL, Flipkart, GE, eBay, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, L'Oreal only adds more lustre.
