XIM Bhubaneswar conducted the Annual Marketing Conclave: MERCATIQUE 2022, hosted by MAXIM - The Marketing Committee of XIM. This year the theme was "Driving Growth in the era of New Age Customers." The event was hosted on 11 September 2022 and was graced by the presence of Mr. Sriram Gopalaswamy, Sr VP, Ecommerce, Welspun Group; Mr. Sameer Jain, VP & Head, D2C Ecommerce, Max Life Insurance Company; Mr. Tribikram Mishra, Vice President, Myntra and our fourth speaker, who shared their valuable insights with the audience.
On 21st August 2022, a crowd of over 100 engaged community members came together to celebrate the sharing of ideas at the 8th annual TEDx event at XIM, Bhubaneshwar. The event took place in an offline setting after two years.
IIM Bodh Gaya organized "International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals" on the 16th and 17th of September 2022, collaborating with the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance, University of Cambridge. Collaborating with one of the most esteemed institution of the world, the Conference had a special emphasis on UN targeted Sustainable Development Goals. The theme of the Conference was “Managing Economic Development and Financial Stability: In the era of SDGs and ESGs.” The Conference received 450+ papers, out of which 300+ were accepted, and 253 papers were presented in 50 tracks by expert researchers, scholars, and industry specialists with spectacular insights on Retracing Carbon Footprint, Strategic Sustainable Development, Electric Vehicles and Sustainability, and many more. The conference received paper from 25 states of India. International papers were received from the USA, the Netherlands’s and Mauritius. The primary sponsor of the conference was Becker.
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak inducted the new batches of the Five Year Integrated Programme in Law (IPL – BBA+LLB) Integrated Programme in Management (IPM – BBA+MBA). The induction and orientation programme was held on the 3rd and 4th of September, 2022. The Chief Guest for the valedictory session was Shri Arjun Munda, Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs whereas Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Hon’ble Minister of State, for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Environment, Forest and Climate Change joined the inaugural session as the Chief Guest. Other keynote speakers who interacted with the students during two day induction and orientation session at IIM Rohtak campus included Hon’ble Justice Arun Monga, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Shri Puneet Bali, Senior Advocate, Shri Raj Kumar, Managing Director, LIC of India, Shri Shardul Shroff, Executive Chairman, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, Dr. Amardeep Singh Rai, ADGP, Punjab, Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Commissioner of Police and TEDx Speaker, Dr. Manoj Gumber, Senior Doctor, Mr. Anand Bhatia, Chief Marketing Officer, Fino Payments Bank, Ms. Akila Agrawal, Senior Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, and Mr. Ashish Tiwari, Chief Marketing Officer, Home Credit, among various other speakers.
Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak, welcomed the new batches to the institute and congratulated them for making it through the rigorous admission process. He sensitized the students on their upcoming life at IIM Rohtak. He added that the institute is focused on developing unique higher order cognition in the students that will make them educated and not just schooled. He said, “I believe that students should be exposed to age-old practices of Indian culture, traditions, and Indian methods of learning that will help them connect it to their modern lives. They will evolve as better human beings who will appreciate traditional knowledge and values. IIM Rohtak is the first IIM to introduce a course on ‘Indian Knowledge System’ in the core curriculum. It will bring the participants closer to their cultural ethos, while expanding their intellectual horizons.” He further advised the students to look beyond the scope of the curriculum and make the most of their time in the institute.

The institute organized a grand Orientation Programme for its second batch of IPM students. The institute's mission is to expose the students to the world of business in a simulated environment and give them vast, exhilarating experiences and knowledge that will transform them into socially responsible and mindful future leaders.
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak inducted the 13th batch of its flagship Post-Graduate Programme. The Orientation programme spread over three days, beginning on the 9th of July, 2022. The new batch was fortunate to be inducted in the presence of eminent speakers such as Shri Girish Chandra Murmu, Hon’ble Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Dr. SatyaPal Singh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Rajesh Khullar, Executive Director, World Bank, and Shri Narendra Singru, Country Director, Asia Development Bank on the first day of Orientation Programme.
The eighteenth World Congress of the Academy for Global Business Advancement’s (AGBA) was held in Istanbul, Turkey from July 2 to July 4, 2022. Researchers over 30 countries presented more than 160 papers at the conference with themes related to globalization, trade, and digitization. This included delegates from countries like the USA, India, Indonesia, UAE, Afghanistan, Thailand, Kenya, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Bangladesh, Finland, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon, South Africa, Egypt, New Zealand, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, UK, Oman, and Nigeria, among various other nations.
