XIMB Annual Alumni Meet 'Sanidhya 2015' from April 25
Being one of the premier B-Schools in India, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) boasts of a widespread alumni network with its members occupying top positions in the corporate world. Each summer, XIMB community congregates in major cities across the country at Sanidhya – the annual alumni meet conducted by the Alumni Committees of XIMB to celebrate its legacy. Sanidhya provides the alumni an opportunity to meet old friends and reminisce old memories. This year, Sanidhya kick starts at Hyderabad and Chennai on 25th April. How does a B School go from its nascent stages to being ranked as one of the top management institutes in the country within a decade? Of course, JKBS had the strategic advantage of its backing from the mighty JK Group, along with being located in the exciting corporate hub of Gurgaon. Since then, it has built its reputation based on its emphasis on an evolving curriculum and dynamic educational initiatives. Gold Medalist Vaanya Bhatia reveals how KIAMS groomed her as a professional and helped her bag her dream placement
Vaanya Bhatia, who was recently awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence at the Annual Convocation ceremony at KIAMS, says that joining the institute was an obvious choice for her. After all, her friends would refer to it as one of, if not the Best College in Pune; and, there was the Kirloskar brand name that was attached to it. But what wasn’t obvious to her was how quickly her life could transform – from an aspiring student to a budding management professional. It has now culminated in her bagging a placement with IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd.

KIAMS PGDM batch Convocation Ceremony 2015 made special as it falls in the Silver Jubilee Year
Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies(KIAMS) conducted its 16th Convocation Ceremony in traditional style. Mr. Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman of Praj Industries – one of the leading players in the Biofuels Industry – was the Chief Guest for the occasion. A total of 104 students graduated with flying colours. The top-of-class show was stolen by women power with Vaanya Bhatia bagging the Gold Medal while Pranasha Sahu takes Silver.

Mr Anil Radhakrishnan, CEO, Adani Logistics And Dimitrov Krishnan, VP, Volvo Construction Equipment To Be Its Esteemed Guests. SCMS Cochin School of Business, a leading B School in Kerala and one of the top management institutes in the country will be hosting its 22nd Annual Convocation ceremony on the 27th of April. It will be a special day for the students of Batch 2015 and their institute is leaving no stone unturned to make sure it turns out to be a memorable day for them. The gala to be held on the sprawling campus of the institute will mark the presentation of the much coveted diplomas to 120 students who will join the list of glorious alumni ambassadors of SCMS Cochin.
