The Prime Cohort – the HR event of Revelation 2018 witnessed participants from different colleges across the country, who had a zeal to go beyond infinity, to achieve the unseen and to redefine themselves constantly, in sync with the theme this year - ‘Aether Infinium’.
Music has the ability to conjure up highly specific mental states. Tiny, almost immeasurable features in a piece of music have the power to elicit deeply personal and specific patterns of thought and emotion in human listeners (One need only listen to Queen’s Grammy-winning performance of Bohemian Rhapsody to re-appreciate music’s ability to capture strange and mysterious moods). Rhapsody – The Singing Competition of Revelation 2018, the Annual Management and Cultural fest of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Bengaluru did just that.
Symposio – The National Level Student Research Conference of Revelation 2018, organised by the Research Committee of SIBM Bengaluru, saw an active participation from 11 teams spread across 9 colleges this year. The event attempts to capture the spirit of innovation through stimulating discussions to scrutinize application of responsible innovation in the various pillars of management through white paper presentations and seminars. Competitors from across the world present their research work in front of a judging panel as the event manifests the importance of Research in management. The theme for this year’s event was “Innovation and Excellence”.

On the 18th of January 2018, the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur was delighted to host Mr Goutam Dasgupta, Director (SAP), Capgemini, India. An Alumnus of ISM Dhanbad, Mr Dasgupta has an industry experience of around 23 years and has worked with giants of the likes of IBM, PwC, and Tata Motors in the past. In his present role as a Director in Capgemini India, he handles critical deliveries for Capgemini, acts as an SAP S/4 HANA architect, and also leads the innovation and industrialisation initiatives of his organisation. His areas of expertise are Project Management, SAP, Business Analysis to name a few.
