Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar concluded its three days management & cultural fest Xpressions, 2017 with quite a crescendo, by hosting Farhan Live, at its concert night, “Celeblitz”, on November 12, 2017. This was Farhan Akhtar’s first live performance in Bhubaneswar.
Mr. Bhavesh Patel, Founder and Director of Opulence Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd made his presence felt at St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies, Ahmedabad as he delivered a talk on ‘Entrepreneurship And Its Challenges with Recent Trends in Financial Technologies.’ In order to foster the spirit of Entrepreneurship among the PGDM students, St. Kabir Open Platform for Entrepreneurs (SKOPE) hosts various events and talks by leading entrepreneurs of Gujarat and Ahmedabad.
The Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur was exuberant as it hosted a very dynamic and accomplished leader from the corporate arena - Mr. Babu Vittal, Head HR, ShopClues on the 10th of November 2017. Mr. Vittal was on campus to deliver a guest lecture to the enthusiastic bunch of budding managers of VGSoM as a part of its guest lecture series, Pratyaksh.

The placement season for Batch 2016-18 has begun on a very promising note with more than 50% of the batch being placed so far.
SCMHRD has pulled off yet another stellar Summer Placement Season. In its Silver Jubilee year, the college re-affirmed its position as the youngest institution to be ranked among the Top 20 premier b-schools in the nation.
When it comes to MBA and Management programs, the first thing that comes to mind of Indian students are IIMs and CAT. Every year approx 2 lakhs MBA aspirants apply for IIMs and only 4300 get selected. With such a cut-throat competition, having an option as good as IIMs is always an added benefit.
