Playing football ever since in school and being a part of the school team, I had always dreamt of making it bigger and forming a recognised team. Even though I had formed an amateur team back in school days through personal contacts, there was this craving to make it bigger by going professional in the field of football.
Life is always flowing like water… and does not wait for anyone. Different people have different dimensions and views towards life. And especially at our age (considering to be between 22-25), we tend to get the real meaning of life and start testing ourselves. And a similar kind of stunt was performed by me.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the combined test for 15 Symbiosis Institutes offering 22 Programs including one in Sports Management through their SSSS!
Anusha Rahinwal is a computer science engineering graduate of 2016 batch itself. An eager participant in extra-curricular activities, she has held various positions of responsibilities throughout school and college. Some of her favourite pastimes include poetry writing.
The most crucial lesson that I have learnt is to keep moving in spite of a lot and lot of failures. Failures are very important to help you succeed. Treat it as motivation to do better and you will go places.
Crack SNAP Better With SIBMB
My low grade in engineering was the reason I ended up at IIM Calcutta. Yes, you read it right. In the first place, IIMC owing to its bohemian culture does not place any significance on graduation score. Secondly, I wanted to work for 2 years and then figure out whether to go for an MBA or do Masters abroad. But I was in a precarious situation – I didn't get through the companies I wished to work for, because of my low grades. I was sure that if I did an MBA it had to be from a top school. IIMC ended up being my only option. Anyway, I do not have many regrets since I just go with the flow. I guess life is what happens when you are busy planning something else. Well, there are quite a few reasons why a ‘facha’ (the fresher breed is condescendingly called) should not opt to join B-School right after graduation, leaving aside the fact that conventionally business education in western countries is made eligible to only people with work experience.
Speed, Knowledge, Decision Making are the three ingredients that make a good manager. MBA entrance exams’ aim is to identify students who have these three skills and no exam does it better than SNAP. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test of SNAP as many would know it tests the ability of a student to score the maximum possible marks in a limited time. The beauty is in letting the student decide which section he wants to attempt within the given time with the added advantage that there are NO sectional cutoffs for almost all institutes in the Symbiosis stable.
