Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducted the Admission Test 2019-2021 for admission into its two-year program in International Business, on Sunday, December 02, 2018. The test was conducted across various centers in the country between 10 am and 12 noon. Differential marking continued to be there and the penalty for every incorrect answer was 1/3rd of the total marks assigned to the question. The terror of the ‘traumatic’ IIFT continued for the second consecutive year. In fact, the paper this year managed to become even more difficult than that of last year. The paper was excruciatingly lengthy and some of the questions were agonizingly tricky. Reading Comprehension became extremely tedious and the number of passages increased from 4 to 5. Overall, the entire paper became difficult. Hence, the overall difficulty level of the paper went a few notches higher. The total number of questions continued to be 114.

While most reports in the media or society see an MBA as an end goal, students know that it is just a start. We have to make 2 major choices. Firstly, we choose which stream of MBA to specialise in. My college does not have any streams to choose from. But most do. These include marketing, HR, operations, finance etc. Let’s first address how to figure this out:

He graduated as a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2016 from Delhi Technological University (erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering). He also worked as an Associate with Axtria India Pvt. Ltd. in the field of data analytics for one of the top 20 U.S. based pharmaceutical clients in Incentive Compensation domain.
Sagar Venkateshwar scored 53.1/ 100 and got a percentile of 99.98 in IIFT 2017. He completed his graduation in Engineering from NIT, Patna. He used to work at Alstom as a design engineer and is currently studying in the first year at IIFT. In his free time, he loves to write and doodle.
