Part A : The third biggest conglomerate of India, ABG touches millions in the world. It has contributed in everyone's life, someway or other. Its presence in my life is massive. Since our childhood, we all have our school memory of eagerly waiting for the lunch break, sharing our tiffins and enjoying hot meals. Freshwrap product of ABG has played a major role in keeping the food fresh and hot, from school tiffins to office meals. Fashion plays a major role in every girls life, from affordable clothing  of Pantaloos to the trendy Forever 21 stores, ABG has touched millions of life in different ways. Laying the bricks and building homes, companies like UltraTech cement have proven to be an impactful presence in India including mine. The time when India just started its fight for independence the industries set up in sectors of textiles and chemicals paved path to independent India to survive and run its economy.

With the valuation of more than 48 billion USD Aditya birla group is one of the leading companies influencing millions of people. Brands like Vodafone which i have been using since i got my first cell phone, it has been an integral part of my lifestyle since then. With one of the most strong networking and now with idea has become one of the major telecom brands in India. Its reach has some strong connectivity and is also helping in building strong connections across. Brands like Ultratech as we all know is there in most of the lavish infrastructures that we use in our daily lives. This group has a reach of 14 sectors and are leading in almost all of them, the kind of connectivity it has between all its ventures inspire me about which kind of a manager i want to become.

I never realized the impact of the Aditya Birla group, until only recently. Before joining IMT, I had been to the Pre-MBA Social 2018 event organized by Inside IIM where people from the ABG Leadership Program came to share their experience of pursuing an MBA and their life at ABG. It was at this event, where I came to know of the big part which ABG plays in our everyday life.

ABG and Me - IMT Ghaziabad

Aditya Birla Group has been a part of my life ever since I stepped out of my house and started living in a hostel. The first number I used as my personal number was a Vodafone sim. It was a unique experience and led to the start of personal independence and decision making process. The learning curve was flat to begin with but surely with time things changed and took a turn for the good. Not only this but Aditya Birla Group's Pantaloons has also been a part of my life. This goes back to 2004 when I was a 4th grade student. Having led most of my life in sub urban or remote areas I did not have much access to malls in my childhood. So in 2004 when I went for excursion with my friends and family to Kanpur we decided to go to Rave 3 mall and in that the first store we entered was Pantaloons. I still remember the yellow and blue striped t-shirt that I bought from there. Since then Pantaloons has regularly been among the shopping bags I have walked with through different walks of my life.
