The Aditya Birla Group, headed by most eminent business figure in the world Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla is a company without which life of billions would be unimaginable. Imagine a small farmer Mr Arijit waking up in his hut made of UltraTech cement covered with roof sheets supplied by Novelis, comes out to spray insecticide supplied by Grashim Industries talking to his son Basu working in a big city like Mumbai on a Vodafone Idea telecom network. Basu on the other hand drives a car which has alloy wheels and rubber part coming out of one of the ABG group factory, wearing a Peter England Suit with a shopping bag full of Pantaloons and Forever 21 goodies for his family,  tries to convince his dad that he wants to buy a Birla Sun life insurance policy for him.

Aditya Birla Group a $44.3 billion corporation with its wings spread wide across 34 countries in 5 continents has touched each one of our lives at some point or the other. I have personally used its products at different points in my life. When I was in my school days around 2010, Idea cellular services started offering their services in our area and I was one of the first customers in our area. They offered premium numbers and attractive tariff rates. Being a student back then, I was heavily wooed by their offerings. They had really cheap tariffs compared to their then competitors and they were improving their network coverage steadily and were responsive to customer feedbacks and complaints. My mother still has this number and is currently using it. As I grew up, pantaloons came up in my city. Pantaloons became my go to destination for all my apparel shopping. Odisha is known to have 13 festivals in 12 months and we shop for new clothes in festive seasons. Starting from Ultratech Cement used in the foundation of our house to Van Heusen Shirt giving the finishing touch to our dressing, Aditya Birla Group has a noticeable presence in our lives.

                             The Aditya Birla Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world has played an inspirational and pivotal role in my life. The Group has contributed to the economy and development of modern India and thus has left its presence in every aspect of life in this country. I first came to know about ABG when I was seven years old through the advertisement of Ultratech Cement. I was then unaware of the impact of Ultratech Cement of the Aditya Birla Group. I was later mesmerized by the fact that almost all major infrastructure projects use the cement. Another very important ABG company which has a profound impact on my life is the Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail. For the longest time I had done my shopping including shopping for special occasions from Pantaloons without having knowledge of the fact that even in Fashion and Retail ABG has left a distinct mark in my life moulding my persona to some extent also by the wide array of offerings that it has in Fashion and Retail. The group has also dominated the telecommunications industry with Idea Cellular being one of the leaders in the field providing telecommunication services to not only big cities but also in the remote parts of the country. Even during my frequent visits to my hometown I would be in awe to find that Idea cellular towers function properly even in small towns and villages. One of the big component companies of ABG is Aditya Birla Capital. With its innovative strategies in Banking and Finance it has now become one of the best companies to invest in. In every sector  starting from Finance to Retail and from Capital to Cement Production and Distribution, Aluminium Production and usage ABG has left a profound impact in this country and has inspired millions of people including myself.
