As I walk down the streets of Andheri I can’t help but be grateful for being born in a country like India. A country still young compared to its peers and made possible due to the sacrifices made by our forefathers. Looking across the street I see an outlet of Pantaloons, which makes me realise that the sacrifices where made by people across the economic spectrum. Traditional business houses did play a vital part in the movement and have also taken an active part in nation building.

‘How I overcame challenges in my life so far’
A few people are fortunate to get a second chance in life and I am grateful I was one of them. An incident that took place in my childhood was fundamental in shaping my outlook towards life. I met with a critical accident when I was five, I fell from the third floor of a building. I thankfully just broke a few bones but survived. When I had almost recovered in the hospital, one day my father while normally talking to me said, “In your life you will be wounded many times. You’ll make mistakes, fail and fall but you must always turn these wounds into wisdom. Everything happens for a reason, be a fighter in life!”
