My father is a dreamer who has come to the city of Hyderabad to fulfil his dreams. He has decided to earn enough so that we don't suffer the way he did in his life. Even though my father studied law he started a small business which gradually grew up. As a child, I have spent my childhood in luxury and richness but time changes everything, my parents had a loss in their business and we were down to the point where my father started. I couldn't understand anything happening around, the shift from an own house to a rented one, international school to a state board school. By the time I could understand we have come far a long way, knowing that I couldn't live that life anymore. I always fancied about wearing branded clothes but couldn't afford them. Even though we were poor, I didn't let anyone know about it and behaved as if I'm from a well-settled family. During my 12th I have seen many of my friends wearing branded clothes to the classes which I always dreamed of. One such brand that got my attention was Allen Solly. I have asked my father to get me an Allen Solly suit for my graduation but he couldn't arrange it in time. Eventually, I have decided to pursue M.B.A,  gave every other management exam and finally got into the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. A place where I can fulfil my dreams and build my future. The one thing every Business school needs is a formal suit and to my surprise, my father got me an Allen Solly suit. With my head held high, I have entered IIFT Delhi wearing an Allen Solly suit, which has been my dream for the past 7 years.

It is one thing to be alive and starkly different other to be living. I know, most of us won’t find this statement meaningful but for me, this has been the guiding light for almost all decisions that I have taken up in my living history. An important reason for this ideology is the Aditya Birla Group. It has been around me since my early childhood when my parents started building their first house and I could see the ultratech cement bags. But more than the utility of its brands and products, which is exemplary, it has been the emotional connect that its advertisements seek out. Right from the ‘What an IDEA Sirji’ to the IIN advert, it has always been about strengthening society. ABG focuses so much on the impact of its actions that it succeeds in evoking the same emotions among its users and this I feel, is commendable. The distribution of their brands across market segments, catering to all the sections of the society while upholding the quality of deliverable, speaks out loud about their moral integrity.
