Progress always offers a new avenue for self-improvement which always comes embedded with inherent challenges. One of the biggest challenges I faced was while making the switch from being a student to a working professional. The key lesson during this quick transition was the effective management of time needed for the multiple responsibilities that I then needed to handle. This called for some clear and consistent prioritization. While being a student I always had enough time to work on assignments and projects related to my coursework. When it came to events and sport, I once again knew how much time I had left to devote to these activities and managed all three harmoniously. At work, I learnt how working in an organization means that your work and goals are directly affected by those of your team; how, as an employee of the organization you’re constantly required to align team goals with those of your own to produce the best results. I had to learn new processes as quick as I can in order to be delivery-ready on a day-to-day basis. Although this was a very steep learning curve, I managed to adapt to it, without losing out on any accountability. This challenge is relatable to successful organizations like ABG , where they have to continuously learn and grow to be in the top.
