My first job , like many others, was at an IT company for the role of an Associate Software Engineer. Fresh out of college, I was clueless about the nitty-griities of the corporate world.
Initially , I was apprehensive of my approach towards the responsibilities given to me.I was doubtful of taking initiatives with a fear of making mistakes.
Nevertheless, I never stopped believing in myself. I was there to acheive my goals as a Software Engineer and upgrade my skillset in the process.To tackle the initial apprehensions and challenges, I undertook a few steps,
Firstly, I began communicating with me peers, asked guidance from my seniors and attended webinars to stay informed about day to day changes in the tech world. They were supprotive and helped me take a few initiatives during my tenure on the project.
Secondly, I started to take initiatives to with respect to the project I was working in. Discouraged at first, my seniors and peers accepted and encouraged my steps , when they saw positive results.
Lastly, I never gave up. Irrespective of any conflicts or problems during my tenure in the project , I always stood my ground and worked towards finding solutions.
Therefore, it is imperative to face challenges head on and work towards solving them rather than looking for an easier way out.
