The quote “no experience is a bad experience” has deep implications in everyone’s life. The challenges in our life help us evolve as a better person. It helps us to maintain our composure during difficult times and make the right decision. During 10th class, I had injury in my right eye while playing cricket. The vision was reduced to 50% due to disturbance in retina and laser surgery has to be done to improve the vision. It was very difficult to prepare for the exams with complete vision in only left eye. But with determined efforts, I got very good score in Board exams. The surgery was done and vision was restored to 90%.

The next challenge was during Undergraduate period. Being an introvert, I had apprehensions to speak in public. My communication skills were below expected levels. I continued getting on the stage and speaking despite getting embarrassed. I practiced with persistence on speaking skills. Consequently, it helped me overcome stage fear and my communication skills improved. This helped me getting a job in Tata Elxsi and later admissions in TAPMI to pursue MBA.

“Sometimes it is the people no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine”. The quote from Imitation game is relevant in all aspects of our life. The world is a competitive place but we need to believe in ourselves to achieve our ambitions. Being educated youngsters, we have the ability to go one step ahead and bring changes in the society. Therefore, we must work with great motivation and hope to build a better future.
