There are no great people in this world, only great challenges which ordinary people rise to meet - William Halsey Jr.

After my graduation, the corporate setting was new to me. I was confident and excited to start this new journey and as days passed by, I realized this is not similar to college assignments or the internship I did, where I was able to submit my assignments and complete the task in hand. At firm not only I had to submit quality output but also I had to make sure I create some extra value which matters to the firm and enhances my job satisfaction. With the kind of investment and objectives, I observed that the firm undertook strategic focus on human capital and in the development of capabilities within the firm. The firm had to show the clients how good they are at recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) business and how they can create maximum value at the time when the staffing process is changing rapidly in every business. I was given a task to handle a client who was associated with the firm for a long time, this client had done many partnerships with the firm and across different verticals and they wanted to enter into the healthcare segment and recruit medical professionals.

I learnt a lot during the first 8 months and after careful consideration by the management team, I was given this task. My aim was in line with the firm’s objective that is to create value to the client and this was the first time I was to handle a client in one of the toughest requirement considered in the job market. I managed to add value by having a flexible approach, where I was ready to dive into the new opportunities and changes in my life for the aim to strive in a competitive environment. I learned to minimize my errors during my previous 8 months and took careful steps in terms of client-communication and any other resources I need to do the task effectively. I analyzed the time when the candidates are mostly available and sourced the candidates at the right time and made a regular follow-up to increase the chances of getting placements.
