Wow! What a brand! We recently studied about the brand architecture in our Brand Management course. ABG is a brilliant example of hybrid model. It have some brands using the name of parent brand and some are kept as a stand-alone brands. I analysed it further and can clearly say that the brands which share the essence of the parent brand uses its name and brand which are different are branded with a different name. Beautiful example to explain brand architecture.
If I talk about my personal experience with the ABG group. My first phone number which I still use is of Vodafone. I am satisfied with the network and the experience and now it has been almost 9 years and I am still using Vodafone.
Talking about their textile business, Allen Solly is my preferred brands for shirts. I have got a collection of casual and formal shirts of Allen Solly and the fitting is just perfect for me. So, I don’t have to look for alternatives which indeed makes shopping easier for me. When I was in school and even in college I used to take lunch and my mother used to wrap in aluminium foil. She used to use Freshwrapp foil for packing and today when I checked the list of products and brands of ABG and I found that the foil is from the ABG group. I was surprised to see that rather I would say impressed.
