Crisis Crusher – TAPMI
I am Deboneil Patra. I come from Bhubaneswar. I am currently pursuing PGDM-Sales in T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, Karnataka. This is one of the most reputed B-School in India, but getting here has not been easy. I was a good student during my pre-teen period but after 8th standard my grades started deteriorating due to the usual adolescent distractions. Although I didn’t want to do engineering, still I had an aptitude for it but my grades didn’t help at all. I could not get into any reputed government engineering colleges. So, I joined a BBA course in a local university. But still I had a burning desire to become rich and recognized and the reason I say this is because I come from a family with a very weak financial background. I had vision about me taking my family out of this crisis and that’s why I decided to join a reputed MBA college with great placements to offer. After preparing hard, I got a good score in CAT, cleared all the selection processes and finally joined TAPMI, Manipal, a college with excellent placement record. Now, by working hard for these two years I can finally get a good placement and take my family out of their financial backwardness and even marry the woman I love and never let my wife and children suffer like I have.
