I would like to start with a one of my favorite quote, ”Life will knock us down, but we can choose whether or not to stand back up.” Life is never meant to be easy. But people always make a mistake of underestimating the challenges, they often tend to forget what they have gained while overcoming a challenge.

Life has challenged me at every corner. When I was 5, me and my family found out that my younger sister is suffering from cerebral palsy. After visiting many doctors and trying every possible chain, we accepted that there is no cure. Her metal growth had stopped after a point. We lost all our hopes. But over the years something amazing happened. We no longer see it in a negative way. We feel that we are blessed to have her in our lives. Our lives revolve around her. This challenge has changed my perspective of looking at things and has shaped the kind of a person I am today.

I started my journey from a very small town in Maharashtra. The problem with coming from small town is, we live in our own bubble. We never really know what there is in the outside world. But that was not me. My dreams were too big for the small bubble. I was just in 7th grade when I first shifted to city. Physical transition was easy but mental transition not so much. I was a very underconfident and scared child who was easily picked on and bullied by others. But I never gave up. The journey from that person to this confident and independent woman has not been easy. But it was worth every challenge that I faced. #TAPMI #ABGLP
