As we have heard life is not a bed of roses and I also believe that life without some challenges and thrill is boring. We get to test our real strength and our real will power and perseverance at that time. Challenges test your resilience towards difficult or unknown situations.
I still remember how happy I was when I got campus placement in 3rd year of engineering. I was enjoying my last year in college to fullest since I had no pressure of job or anything else. I still remember my last paper of last semester. I partied hard that day with my friends and we also went for trip for 4-5 days. While returning from trip I had a bike accident in which I fractured my leg and I got injured very badly and got stitches on my face. I was on bed for coming 1-2 months.
I had passed all the 7 semesters of my engineering with distinction. Also, my father was a university topper in inorganic chemistry and my sister had completed his M. tech and my brother is a double post graduate. Nobody had failed a single exam in whole family. I also had a very sound academic background till now. When the result came out after a month I had failed in one subject in which I expected to score very good. I was surprised and angry at myself. I started doubting myself. I started introspecting if I got distracted in last year. I was very sad. I was not able to tell my parents about result. I was bedridden and injured and I got to see my first failure in academics at the same time and both events happened when I had to go for my first job. I was certainly upset and angry at myself. But I was determined to secure my future. Hence, I applied full concentration in order to succeed. despite attending the different challenges, I encountered. I had to study despite the fact that I was heavily injured and I was not even able to eat properly and I was not able to walk a single step.
I came up with time table to study and I started aiming for small targets in syllabus as well as taking small steps to walk. I also started meditation to calm my mind as I used to be in too much frustration. It helped me a lot. Time passed and I continued to make little progress day by day each day improving myself. Proper planning, perseverance, meditation and motivation helped me to walk and run again and pass my engineering with distinction.
With almost 3 years passed, I think challenges comes to test your real strength. It comes to make you better and stronger. We get to know our real strength and weaknesses. We should be ready to face any challenge and give our best in every situation.
