The society has dramatically changed with the evolution of technology and industrialization. Life was burdensome and everyday chores consumed too much of our time. But now starting with a wake-up call to the roof under which we sleep has not only been made easy but efficient as well. One such industry is Aditya Birla Group. It contributes to every hour of my life by being a big part of it. My day starts with a wake-up call and there I find Vodafone idea being written on the screen. The basic needs of the life like food, shelter, clothes and the modern needs of the communication system are provided by ABG. This solves the majority of our life problems. Now I can have fresh food anywhere because of the fresh wrap thus encouraging a fresh and healthy lifestyle. Moreover, being a top recycler in cans, ABG leaves a message of reuse and recycle the waste to encourage an eco-friendly environment by recycling cans and producing eco-friendly fabric. The Linen Club franchise is a major contributor to my wardrobe. I see a wide variety of apparels and clothing for every occasion and for every budget. And thanks to ABG, we can have the best outfit for everyday whether they being casuals or formals. The roof under which we sleep and the walls that surrounds us are made up of Ultratech cement and roofing sheets that are contributed by ABG. The print out which I take for my projects, documents, CV are due the Birla carbon. The strong network that connects me with my family and friends when I am far away from them is through Idea network. A lifestyle with all the needs taken care by ABG with apparels suited for everyone’s pocket, strong satellite connection, strong network to connect people worldwide, things that build, protect and decorate home, even coatings for cars and also financial services and insurance policies to help in every stage of life. Aditya Birla has always been big in my life. Starting from the bottom, something we have all done is not an easy feat. On some days we inspire to march ahead and on others, we journey to find ourselves. We aspire for a lot but at the same time, we wonder how much we can really do. Some ideas make a million bucks while others sink and leave us empty inside. Fearing these facts, we struggle hard, turmoil our mind but always keep moving on. During my graduation period in NIT Rourkela, I was determined to do MBA from a good institution. Later in the final years, not satisfied with my score, I took up a job in Coal India Limited. I was posted in Talcher, a small deserted coal mines area. Reaching the place, it reminded me of the ancient era where people were devoid of internet, full-time supply of electricity and water. Every-time I went to my workplace, I was covered by the gush of coal winds and tanned with the scorching heat. My only aim was to prepare for next MBA exam for which I was fully determined. Unfortunately, my determination was constantly hammered by the work culture, working time, extreme climatic condition, shortage of food, water and electricity. There was no proper communication system, so I had to go 25kms to the nearest District Headquarter to collect my study packages. To be tested is good because challenged life may be the best therapist to make and show us how capable we are as it demands on ourselves. To overcome these adversities, I decided to adjust to the working environment as it was inevitable. I got exposure by interacting with people from a very diverse cultural background and as an Assistant Manager, I had to get the work done by engaging around 50 employees. To combat my stress and anxiety I started playing badminton as it makes my mind free and helps me to concentrate on my studies. I took my study materials to the office and managed to study during breaks and managed to achieve a balance between work and study. Lastly, I would say - Every individual Undergoes struggle, The struggle Which is inevitable, Makes you unstoppable, So when life tests you, Be humble and hustle.
