After completing my high school, I had to take a very important decision of choosing a stream. I chose science stream as I had affinity for chemistry. After senior secondary I chose civil engineering believing that I will be able to join Indian Railways, but after graduation I had only one job offer from Indian tech giant Infosys. In Infosys I was required to work as IT professional. I took the challenge of changing my line from civil engineering to information technology. I knew that I will be required to learn from zero and compete with colleagues who have completed their undergraduate in information technology and computer science engineering. I believed in myself and took the challenge.
Infosys is having a very rigorous training program, which should be qualified in order to move to production. My journey began with Infosys training, I was a bit scared as I was not aware of the concepts which were being discussed in the class. To overcome this challenge I came up with a roadmap which forced me to push myself to my limits and give cent percent. With my persistence and hardwork I was able to clear one assessment after another and my journey became very easy and I completed the training as one of the batch topper. This was the biggest challenge which i overcame with my sheet persistence and hardwork.
My hardwork was identified by the management and I was offered a profile of corporate trainer. The profile of corporate trainer was again a challenging one. I was required to train the freshers, and help them inculcate work culture of the company. As corporate trainer was expected to control, guide and resolve all their queries, I developed a unique skillset which includes people management, emotional intelligence and time management. These skills which I gained from my work experience will help me to conquer more challenges on my way forward.
