Dynamic, vibrant and youthful nature of the Aditya Birla Group fascinates the story of change and transformation. “Birla Haveli” in Rajasthan, 1860 where all it started by respected Shiv Narayan Birla and now transformed into multiple companies over 35 countries acquired in fields like CARBON black, Universal Financial Solution, Aluminium, Cellular, Cement, E-commerce, Mutual funds, Fashion stores and many more. Which clearly shows the engagement of our daily life with Aditya Birla Group.

The introduction of many clothing brands like Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, and Peter England targeted Upper high segment, high segment, and middle-class customer to help in improving their lifestyle, which even helped me in my college placement interview as Peter England was affordable for me and till date I found it the most comfortable formal shirts in the economical range.

Coincidently Aditya Birla group was the part of it, what actually I have experienced in my life and. It all started when I was a kid, many times I used to go with my father who was working as a civil contractor for a private firm “AD Hydro Power Ltd.” in Manali, H.P which was a very beautiful place and there I could see a heap of Cement bag named UltraTech cement. One thing I liked about my father is that he never allow the kids of worker to work there even though there was no as such audit at that time which restricts child labour. My father always treats all the worker very friendly and in a decent manner. One thing I noticed every time I go with my father that, after labour finishes their work, they always carry that yellow colour empty cement bag with them and I used to think that they have given instructions to dispose the empty cement bag at some designated place.

After many days of observations, it became very curious for me to know where they throw the bags? It was raining that day when me and my father was just passing by the residence(Tent type) of those labour, and I was surprised to see that there were small tent near a big tent which was made up of that empty cement bag of Ultratech cement, labour knitted all of them together and placed in shape of tent layer by layer . Inside of then tent I could see that their kids were doing their homework that too sitting on the mat which was also made up of that empty cement bag, it might be sounding very normal situation but at that moment I was surprised and asked myself where I stand, how we can make best out of anything and stop making excuse for small problems which is not even a problem for these people.

On that day, albeit it was not a life-changing turnout for my but one thing I made clear in my mind that despite having all the privilege and access to all the basic things I only complained for more and never thought of the situations which the lower part of society is facing, still they are working hard for their better tomorrow. From that day till now whatever small or big things I have achieved is only due to my hard work. I came to know that if we have to succeed in life we have to make use of every resource very intelligently even if it is a piece of useless empty Cement Bag.
