ABG is a brand that touches millions in the world. It is a brand that has contributed to the quality of the day to day life of millions of people. The group has interests in cement which is the largest in India. Apart from this, the conglomerate also has interests in apparel, chemicals, financial services, telecom, BPO, IT services etc. This in itself tells us quite a story of how big this company actually is. Founded in 1857, this conglomerate has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception. Some of their subsidiaries include UltraTech Cement, Vodafone Idea, Pantaloons Fashion, Aditya Birla Capital etc. We can see that all these are wildly different in nature and give completely different products and services. So we can see the sheer number of people influenced and reaping the benefits of the enterprise.

It’s cement subsidiary, Ultratech Cement is a huge business and it is very unlikely that we haven’t travelled by roads with products from this enterprise not being used. So even unknowingly we see how much we have been affected. The telecom business is also a huge part of the conglomerate. Thousands of people use the Vodafone service today. This started with Idea and then merged with Vodafone and at a point of time surpassed Airtel in terms of revenue.

ABC or Aditya Birla Capital is also among the top 5 fund managers in India. This also affects the populace in a huge way. All this proves the affect this group has on the life of millions of people everywhere in the country.
