I am a self-confessed shopaholic, and if anything that can make my monotonous days bearable, it has to be shopping. And the first fashion retail chains that comes to my mind regarding this are Pantaloons and Forever 21. My wardrobe has 90% products from these two fashion chains. And the collection they have in unbeatable. They have everything.  Be it party wear on a Cocktail party, a casual night out with friends, a family gathering during Diwali, or a formal meeting, Pantaloons is my one-stop solution. And, that’s not even an exhaustive list. It has chunky  jewellery, shoes and sandals, bags and what not. It is very well said- If life gives you lemons, sell them and buy clothes Of course, from Pantaloons and Forever 21.

And, it is not just me. My father’s wardrobe has every Aditya Birla Brand in it. Be it  Louis Phillippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen or Peter England, you will find everything in our house. My father is my fashion icon. Also,Peter England is my father’s personal favourite, and so is mine.  Too much of fashion around, and I love it. I love my home, and my family. And, my family is incomplete without UltraTech.

Also, did I not mention that UltraTech Cement runs in  our family ? Yes, it has always been UltraTech. The little villa we live in, is made of UltraTech. It’s trustworthy. It is like a huge blanket holding us together.  UltraTech is where the heart is. It is like the little Taj Mahal, which holds millions of memories, and UltraTech holds it together. All of it.

Most of my memories also take me back to the days when I used to talk all night with my near and dear ones. And, Idea Cellular has served me since. The nights I have spent talking to my  best friends are the ones I always cherish. Too many stories, too many memories, too many emotions.  The fights and tears, the love and laughter, all could be shared only because there was Idea Cellular. I am forever grateful for the services they provided. I am eternally indebted.  Last year Idea cellular completed its merger with Vodafone India, and hence, has become a part of our family ever since. Now, you won’t find a single member of my family who does not use Vodafone-Idea. That is how I grew up and joined an engineering college.

When I was in college, I have always wanted to bring a change, to contribute to the society. And, that is how I became the Campus Ambassador of InsightStem. I worked with NGOs, and conducted classes in the schools of the under-privileged children. The happiness of working and spending time with those children has been one of my biggest milestones. The satisfaction level I achieved by actually serving and committing to the society was enormous. And, one fine day, I was awarded by my college for these activities. A certificate of appreciation and a trophy as a souvenier. That day is one of my best days till date, and eternally thankful to my professors and college for that.  And, I still remember the suit I wore that day.  The Allen Solly suit my father gifted me on my birthday. And, that suit has become my favourite since then. I always wear it in my most challenging times. It gives me confidence and makes my challenges easier to handle. It brings a smile on my face, and makes me proud. Afterall, what can make you more happy, than bringing smile on little children’s faces ?

Now, I have graduated and pursuing my MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. I am a finance enthusiast, and my dream company to work in is none other than Aditya Birla Capital, the umbrella brand for all the financial services business of the Aditya Birla Group (ABFSG). I hope I can work hard in IIM Ranchi, stand a good position in class, study well, and grab the opportunity to serve ABFSG someday. It will make my parents proud. And the greatest achievement for me has always been to make my parents happy. Hence, ABFSG is what I look up to. Aditya Birla brand has stayed in my family since I was born, and will stay forever.
