At a time when mobile phones started to become a part of our daily lives, the impact that Idea cellular service had was remarkable. Like many other mobile phone users, the first efficient service availed by my father was Idea. So, in my mind mobile phones were more often clubbed with Idea cellular services. Even though I was acquainted with Aditya Birla Group’s various products at different times, I realized the importance of it after I joined Govt. engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala for studying B. Tech in Civil Engineering. Civil engineering deals with a lot of materials, among which “Cement” is an important material. During my graduation days, Ultra Tech cement was one of the materials which I had to deal with almost every week. Proper test results required good quality materials, which was assured by using Ultra Tech Cement. Apart from its application during graduation, I was involved in using Ultra Tech Cement during my house renovation work last year, 2018. I tried to contribute my small efforts helping workers in processes which were done manually. This helped me gain a more practical picture of the usage of cement in real life. It was during the same time that Kerala floods happened. Me and my friends extended our help towards our neighbors in fixing small problems in their houses which occurred due to flood, like sealing leaking areas, covering disintegrated portions of houses etc… using the materials from my home like cement, aggregates, etc…
Moreover, brands like Allen Solly and Van Heusan sold in Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. has always been my first and favourite preference while gifting shirts for my father and brother. 😊
So, like many other people around the world, Aditya Birla Group has always had a positive and sweet influence in my life.
