I’d like to take some time out and type about a part of my life in which I had to really dip deep and think on my feet to get through to achieve my target. In the third year of my college, me and my roommate decided to build our own start-up inside the college which was also going to be affiliated with the college. It took us a lot of days to research about our competitors and their prices out there. After we had figured out that we wanted build our own Digital Marketing and Production firm we got to work on thinking of a name. I proposed that we need a name that is short and catchy so that people don’t forget about it once they see or hear it. We thought about it long and hard came up with a name that was small and catchy.
Next came the hurdle of funding, and since this was the main thing to be done which could make or break us. I personally used to leave my classes to just sit in waiting of our college’s Professors and Administration. I used to sit there waiting with our startup profile in my hand all day just to get a chance to present my idea. But unfortunately they all just said “in a while” and that while never came. After not even getting a chance to prove ourselves, we both decided against our better judgement to raise money ourselves and that included asking our parents. After days of explaining and begging, we finally got our parents on board.
