Failure is the pillar to success. Challenges are a part of life. One needs to overcome various challenges to achieve certain ambitions in life. I had to face such challenging situations several times in my life to achieve my goals. Sometimes it was a challenge with the society and sometimes with my own self. The first challenging situation that I faced in life was getting into an English-medium co-educational school. Coming from not a very high-class society, and being a girl, the society discouraged my parents to admit me into any English-medium or any co-educational school. My parents, however, went against the stereotype mindset of the people and admitted me to one of the best schools. I was challenged at every step of from then and fortunately with the help of my parents, and my constant hard work over the years I passed out of the school as the school-topper in my final higher secondary board’s exam.

Another major challenge that I faced in life was with my communication ability and ability to perform on-stage or in front of a big crowd. Initially, I was very afraid to address a large gathering and that hindered my ability of public-speaking. But I decided to overcome that weakness. With constant help from many of my teachers and friends, I started gathering the courage to speak and address a crowd. I failed a few times; I went blank and people would make fun of me. I did not, however, lose hope. And with constant practice, finally I could overcome the weakness and speak fluently with confidence in public.
