Belonging to a family, living in a conservative Muslim community, Talat Khanam was told to hide behind Burqa from her childhood. Pursuing higher education to achieve her dreams was a luxury for her in a society that is dominated mostly by men. Religion comes as another hindrance for a woman in her community to branch out and live a life of her will.

But, Talat refused to accept the norm. She fought tooth and nail to come closer to her dream. Currently pursuing her PGDM in Finance from SPJIMR, Talat wants to become the face of the corporate world for her community and set an example for more Talat's to come.

On this Women's Day, watch Talat's story and find out how her will and hard work changed the course for her.
