Aditya Birla Group is a fortune 500 group with a staggering $43 billion evaluation, anchored by a workforce of over 100,000 employees and spanning in 34 countries across the globe. No wonder ABG is such an integral part of all our lives. It is highly unlikely that someone has never used one of their numerous products marketed under difference brands.
For me, one of the most frequently bought and used products has to be from their clothing stores like Van Huesen, Peter England and Allen Solly. All through my life I have been a loyal customer of Peter England and Allen Solly and they have never let me down in terms of fit and finish. Just two months back i was acquainted with Van Huesen as i was searching for formals that i had to wear after joining IMT Ghaziabad. They have some of the best tailors and all and all i was a happy customer.
Even though i don't use Freshwrapp now, I still consider it be one of the most important nostalgic products for me when I think of my childhood. School lunch would never be complete without it being wrapped in Freshwrapp.
Aditya Birla Group has been an important part of my life and will continue to be big in my life.

How I overcame obstacles to achieve my ambitions in life?
Challenges are an integral part of our lives. We only grow when we overcome the various obstacles at every stage of our lives. One major challenge i had to face was to fit into a work culture i had no idea or experience of.
I am a Mechanical graduate from SRM university and in the final year i was placed in Tata Consultancy Services. I was bit hesitant of joining an IT industry given the fact that i had very little knowledge. That is exactly the most important challenge i have faced in my life yet. I did decide to join the organisation and worked hard from the beginning to understand their work and the technologies used in IT industry. There were many instances during my time in TCS that my lack of knowledge set me back in terms of performance appraisals and all. I did not give up and continued to learn new technologies and connect frequently with my office colleagues. Their help and my motivation helped me alot and I am happy to say I worked there for a total of three years before I joined IMT this year and looking back i would say my time in TCS was a very important phase in my life and indirectly also helped me to secure a seat in one of the most prestigious B-Schools in India.
